The building sector accounts for 44% of the energy consumed in France. In a sensitive ecological and energy context, the gains to be made by adopting an energy efficiency approach are significant. There's no longer any debate. Driven by ecological and energy challenges and their economic impact, several governments like the French one are taking the lead on BMS. For example, the French BACS decree clearly states that "automation and control systems" must be "interoperable with the various technical systems of the building". But what does BMS interoperability mean?
