The African Water Association (AfWA) is a professional association of public and private institutions, private companies providing solutions, and African and international service companies operating in the drinking water, sanitation and environmental sectors in Africa. The association organizes its major congress every two years, bringing together a range of national and international actors in the environmental field.
The congress brings together, among others, institutional and political decision-makers (Ministers of Water, Environment and Industry of the various countries involved), managing directors, technical directors and specifiers of national water distribution companies in Africa, as well as private companies supplying solutions, services and equipment. All of them are animated around the theme: "Acting for the sustainable management of resources and access for all to water and sanitation in Africa".
On the occasion of this 2023 edition, AREAL will present its know-how and the Topkapi software.
